Early, and incomplete, data for 2024 reflect a 9.6 percent dip, with updates pending, for example of the U.S. Space Force Space Track satellite catalogue, for "several missions," such as the SpaceX Bandwagon 2 mission.  The number of lofted space objects grew 16.7 percent in 2023.
