SPECTRUM REGULATION for terrestrial and space use has been teed up on the regulatory agenda for the period 2025 to 2026, Brazil told international partners citing a decision by the regulator in that country.

Brazil teed up three laws at the foundation of spectrum use in that country for consideration during the agency's regulatory work for the period 2025 to 2026, online translations of material cited in a Sept. 16 notification to international partners said. The notification reflected a decision by Anatel, and which appeared to describe a finalised draft consultation. Brazil asked international partners for comment until Oct. 28. The laws touch authorisation, use, coordination and compromise.
