Industry demands for FSS uplink capacities are rising, which puts the currently available uplink band 14-14.5 GHz under pressure, Germany said in a call to international partners for information on radio-location use in a nearby band to update ITU-R guidance.  The Global Satellite Operators Association (GSOA) suggested changes may have developed in other services sharing the band 13.75-14 GHz, their applications and co-existence conditions.  The band 13.75-14 GHz, being adjacent to the 14-14.5 GHz, would be straightforward, cost efficient to implement in new amplifier models, GSOA said . . .
