FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr offered to travel to Brazil to meet with Carlos Manuel Baigorri, the Anatel chief, in response to "apparently unlawful and partisan political actions" the agency "has been carrying out against businesses with U.S. ties," he wrote Sept. 5 in correspondence referring to both the decision to bar public access to "X" in that country, and perceived punitive punishment against satellite provider Starlink.
