INT’L FEDERATION of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations and the Int’l Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations were tapped to help ramp up international visibility on the rising impact of RFI to GNSS, aviation officials in a regional planning group said.

New "symptoms" appear to be emerging in the "huge" spike in RFI, and which extend to loss of certain RLAN data connectivity for antenna beam steering, loss of SATCOM functionality, a cascade effect from incorrect timing, certain instances of autopilot unavailability, and weather radars: tally on GNSS RFI and spoofing from an airline company's manager of technical flight operations.
